Role Description The Azure Data Engineer role is a full-time, remote position, where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. Daily responsibilities include developing and optimizing data pipelines, integrating data from various sources, building and managing data warehouses, and ensuring data quality and governance. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot performance issues, and contribute to the overall data architecture strategy. Qualifications β€’ Experience with Azure Data Platform including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Databricks. β€’ Proficiency in data modeling, designing data warehouses, and implementing ETL/ELT workflows. β€’ Strong skills in SQL, Python, and coding for data transformation and analytics. β€’ Familiarity with data governance, security practices, and performance tuning in cloud environments. β€’ Ability to integrate and manage various data sources and APIs. β€’ Excellent problem-solving skills and expertise in troubleshooting data pipeline and performance issues. β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. β€’ AWS or other cloud platform knowledge is a plus. β€’ Effective communication, collaboration, and remote work management skills are highly desired.
