Azure Data Engineer

Job Title: Azure Data Engineer Location: Remote Job Type: Contract (Long Term) Employment Type: W2 Only Job Summary- We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure data engineering technologies and big data platforms to design, build, optimize, and maintain scalable data solutions for healthcare applications. This role requires hands-on development experience in Azure Data Lake, Databricks, PySpark, and modern data orchestration tools while working in an Agile and DevOps environment. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Strong experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Databricks. • Hands-on experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing. • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow and Oozie. • Strong knowledge of Big Data technologies including HBase and Hive. • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins. • Strong SQL skills with experience in query optimization and performance tuning. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Java. • Prior experience in the Healthcare domain. • Knowledge of Azure security, governance, and data platform best practices. • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and cloud-native application deployment.
