Role description
Azure Data Engineer Location: Hamilton, NJ (4 days onsite) -- This is an onsite role. Remote is not an option. Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Azure Data Engineer with 8-10 years of experience designing, building, and optimizing modern data platforms supporting analytics and AI initiatives. This role partners closely with technology and business teams to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions. Responsibilities • Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Services and Databricks. • Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using PySpark, Python, SQL, and Azure Data Factory/Fabric. • Integrate and manage data across platforms such as Snowflake, Delta Lake, and Azure Storage. Required Skills • Strong experience in Azure Data Engineering. • Hands-on expertise with Databricks, PySpark, Python and SQL. • Experience with Azure Fabric, Snowflake, and modern data architectures. • Solid understanding of cloud data pipelines, performance tuning, and data governance. • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
