The role focuses on Azure Databricks, Lakehouse architecture, data engineering best practices, performance optimization, governance, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Databricks and PySpark.
• Design data models, Lakehouse architecture, and reusable data products.
• Implement data governance, security, compliance, and performance optimization.
• Optimize Spark workloads, Databricks jobs, and platform performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and mentor engineering teams.
• Drive CI/CD, DevOps automation, and enterprise analytics initiatives.
Required Skills
• 10+ years in Data Engineering or Data Platform delivery.
• Expertise in Azure Databricks, PySpark, Apache Spark, Python, SQL/T-SQL.
• Strong experience with ADF, ADLS, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, Databricks Workflows, Azure DevOps, and Data Warehousing.
• Hands-on experience in enterprise Databricks implementations and Azure cloud transformation.
