Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Azure DevOps Consultant with strong Azure Databricks and CI/CD automation experience to join our clientβs Telecommunications engineering and analytics team in Irving, TX.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and optimizing DevOps pipelines, automating cloud infrastructure, and enabling seamless integration of data and analytics solutions in Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for data engineering and analytics projects.
Integrate Azure Databricks with DevOps pipelines for continuous deployment of notebooks, jobs, and clusters.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
Implement source control strategies (Git, branching, merging, versioning) for collaborative development.
Manage Azure environments including Data Lake, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Key Vault.
Develop scripts in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and monitoring tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams β Data Engineers, Solution Architects, and Cloud Admins β to streamline build and deployment processes.
Ensure security, compliance, and governance across all Azure DevOps workflows.
Troubleshoot and optimize CI/CD pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
10 - 12 years of overall IT experience with 6+ years in Azure DevOps, 4 years with Databricks
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, including notebook deployment, job scheduling, and cluster configuration.
Expertise in Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, Azure Repos, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) β Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
Good understanding of Azure Cloud Services: Data Factory, Synapse, Key Vault, Log Analytics, Monitor, and Storage Accounts.
Experience in automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud resources and data pipelines.
Domain exposure to Telecommunications, Data Analytics, or Enterprise Cloud Transformation projects.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certifications: AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert), DP-203 (Data Engineer Associate), or AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate).
Experience with Databricks REST APIs, MLflow, or integration with Azure Data Factory.
Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes in CI/CD environments.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
