Position Overview We are seeking a strong DevOps Engineer who comes from a software engineering background—not a traditional sysadmin-turned-DevOps profile. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automation, continuous improvement, and building scalable DevOps systems in a multi-cloud environment. This hands-on role centers around automation, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and DevOps innovation to improve developer experience and speed of delivery. Must-Have Skills (highlight these on the resume) • 5+ years of strong DevOps experience • Solid software engineering mindset and coding background • Expertise in: • Kubernetes (K8s) & GitOps (Argo CD preferred) • RedHat OpenShift • GitHub Actions & Azure DevOps Pipelines • Azure PaaS services (GCP a plus) • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, BASH) • Experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, Node.js, TypeScript, etc. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement automation that enhances developer experience and platform reliability • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps • Implement GitOps practices for deployment automation using Argo CD and Kubernetes • Develop scripts/tools (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for workflow optimization • Create templates and automation for developer self-service (repos, pipelines, containers) • Partner with Agile teams to support repo/pipeline setup and production deployments • Collaborate on multi-cloud strategies (Azure & GCP) and RedHat OpenShift enhancements • Support critical release activities (up to 2–3 nights per week if required) Preferred Qualifications • Multi-cloud (Azure & GCP) experience • SAFe Agile environment familiarity • Bonus: Kafka, GraphQL, Temporal, LaunchDarkly, SonarQube, Backstage, or mobile app release experience If this role matches your background, please share your updated resume, work authorization, and current location.
