Azure Local Engineer

World Wide Technology is looking for Azure Local Engineer. This job is part of WWT’s Strategic Resourcing services. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner. Title: Azure Local Engineer Duration: Until the end of 2025; but we expect it to go into 2026. Location: Remote Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $75/hr. hourly C2C. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay. Overview: The customer is migrating their entire Broadcom VMware workload from Dell’s VxRail to Dell’s PowerFlex and AzureLocal hardware. They are looking for an engineer who has experience in building out Azure Local on Prem clusters and migrating VMware VMs to AzureLocal and Hyper-V. Required: • Experience with Azure Local installs, patching and updating • Experience with Dell’s HCI platforms (VxRail, PowerFlex) • Experience with Broadcom’s VMware vCenter, vSphere, and ESXi hosts • Experience with Azure Migrate; the migration / export of VMs off of VMware • Experience with Dell’s PPDM (PowerProtect Data Manager) and Data Domains • Experience with Veeam’s Hyper-V Backup & Replication • Experience with Windows Admin Center (WAC) NOTE: If you have any questions or concerns about this posting, please email us at - srpostings@wwt.com
