Azure Monitoring Specialist

This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan. This is a hybrid role to Jackson, Michigan and requires reporting onsite 3 days a week. • Configure and manage Azure Monitor to ensure proactive monitoring of cloud infrastructure and applications • .Develop and maintain alerting, logging, and dashboards to support IT operations and business continuity • .Integrate monitoring solutions across hybrid environments, including on-premises and cloud systems • .Collaborate with IT teams to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system reliability • .Leverage SolarWinds and Power BI to design and manage dashboards for system health and performance reporting • .Document monitoring processes and standards to ensure compliance and repeatability .Requirements • :Expertise in Azure Monitor configuration, management, and troubleshooting • .Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure monitoring and performance optimization • .Experience with SolarWinds for network and system monitoring • .Proficiency in Power BI dashboard development for visualization and reporting • .Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret monitoring data and recommend improvements • .Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional IT teams • .Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • .Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure Security Engineer) preferred • .Additional training or certifications in monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Power BI) considered a plus .Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation )The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 52-$62/h rBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met )All qualified applicants will not be discriminated against and will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin .
