Position Overview
We are actively searching for an amazing Microsoft technologist to join our growing family. We areΒ looking for a team member with extensive experience in Professional Services as both in pre-sales
and post-sales consultant. An individual who enjoys working with customers from the very first
meeting to the delivery of the end state documentation and everything in between. Someone who
loves Azure and is passionate about using it to create innovative solutions to solve complex
challenges.

β’ An experienced technologist that will mentor team members and accelerate their skills
development.
β’ A lifelong learner that is always up to date on Microsoft Azure and other cloud
technologies.
β’ A pre-sales resource that can quickly identify business challenges and requirements,
build, and deliver compelling presentations, craft detailed statements of work, and who
can clearly and concisely convey our solutions equally well to engineers and the C-Suite.
β’ The ability to lead multiple pre-sales engagements simultaneously and identify ways to
drive repeatability and innovation within the team.
β’ A well-organized self-starter who will be responsible for owning customer engagements
including pre-sales architecture and design, scoping and Azure consumption estimates,
solution implementations, project management, communications, and documentation.
What youβll do:
β’ Be a senior resource on our Professional Services team within the Cloud Platform
practice, providing Microsoft Azure architecture and implementation services.
β’ Advise customers on best practices, whether industry standards or your own
recommendations, around Microsoft Azure including security, networking, applications
services, and data management.
β’ Be a member of our organization focused on expanding our Microsoft partnership & Azure
practice through growth in CSP and Pro Services revenue, development of new technical
skills & focus areas, and building relationships with key Microsoft resources.
β’ Mentor other team members to grow and improve their skills as a Professional Services
consultant as well as expand their knowledge of Microsoft Azure including best practices,
implementation strategies, complex architectures.
β’ Define and implement standards and methodologies for all our Azure engagements.
β’ Develop repeatable processes to drive efficiency in our Microsoft Azure practice.

β’ A business and technology data scientist mindset that can identify ways to grow our
clients org and expand their capabilities
β’ Experience with the Microsoft Partner ecosystem including Solution Partner designations,
Advanced Specializations, and how to achieve them
β’ βHands Onβ Azure/Keyboard expertise and experience
β’ Insight into Microsoft programs and customer funding mechanisms including ECIF
β’ Microsoft Certifications and/or the ability to achieve them during the first 6-12 months:
Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure
Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700), Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate both
business and technology topics
β’ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills including the ability to manage
communications internally and with the customer during challenging situations
β’ Knowledge and experience with as many of the following technologies as you can:
o Azure PaaS & SaaS including Azure SQL Service, Azure Web Apps, and
associated resources, expert MSP
o Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, and Terraform
o Azure Virtual WAN, Azure Firewalls, and Virtual Networks
o Networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, dynamic routing, and load balancing
o PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, or other scripting languages
o Azure Load Balancer and Azure Application Gateway
o Azure Sentinel and Azure Security Center
o Azure Cost Manager dashboards and methodologies to optimize costs
o Containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
o DevOps and CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps
o Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lakes, and Databricks
o Azure database services, such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Database for
PostgreSQL, or Azure Cosmos DB

β’ Any additional Microsoft Certifications and/or the ability to achieve them: Azure AI
Engineer Associate (AI-102), Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900), Azure Data Scientist
Associate (DP-100), Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203), Azure Database
Administrator Associate (DP-300), Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) and Azure

β’ A Strong knowledge of cloud computing architecture, security, and best practices,
including the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) for Azure and the Microsoft
Well-Architected Framework (WAF) for Azure, and the ability to lead assessments and
projects aligned to the CAF and WAF frameworks.
β’ Any experience with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0, Microsoft
Azure Government, and/or Microsoft 365 GCC High.
β’ Any experience with third party solutions that enhance Azure including but not limited to
Palo Alto Networks, F5, Okta, Cloudflare, Zerto
