Azure DevOps / Platform Engineer (Contract)
Location: Remote (UK or Nearshore)
Start Date: End of January 2026 (Interviews early January)
Duration: Minimum 6 months
Day Rate: £400/day Outside IR35 About the Role
My client is seeking experienced Azure DevOps / Platform Engineers to join a major transformation programme. The focus is on enabling modern cloud infrastructure and self-service capabilities for BI platforms. Candidates ideally would have worked on Azure DevOps projects with a lot of Snowflake as well. Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Azure DevOps.
• Configure and manage networking, security, and containerisation within Azure environments.
• Drive observability and monitoring across platforms.
• Support creation of self-service capabilities for BI and analytics teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. Essential Skills
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps and related tooling.
• Expertise in IaC, networking, security, and containerisation.
• Exposure to Snowflake or other modern data platforms.
• Solid understanding of monitoring and observability frameworks.
