Azure Solutions Architect - Excellent Rate 6 Month Contract - Hybrid in Michigan NO C2C - Must be able to work without sponsorship Project Details: Our client is working with a System Integrator to implement 365, specifically GCC High version • Once the integrator leaves, they need someone internally with knowledge of the GCCH Tenant Landing Zone to help the team navigate and manage it. • The Integrator is handling designing and deploying the landing zone. You will help the team understand, navigate, manage, resolve issues, and design post-cutover, scalable solutions for legacy on-prem applications and connections that will align with existing roadmaps for multiple departments. Responsibilities • Define, implement and manage Azure landing zones with focus on scalability, governance, and security • Design and manage enterprise cloud architectures across networking, identity, compute, and storage • Lead on-premises to Azure migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, re-architect) • Manage and guide governance, tagging standards, and policy compliance • Manage and plan post cloud migration roadmaps and guide to execute designed solutions as needed to solve Post Migration problems with legacy on prem applications post Migration • Design and manage high availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency strategies for mission-critical systems • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (FAR, DFARS, ITAR, CMMC) • Provide technical leadership and collaborate with stakeholders to drive cloud adoption and modernization Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience • 5 years in Azure architecture roles • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services (networking, identity, governance, monitoring, compute, storage) • Proven track record designing enterprise-grade Azure solutions and executing migrations from on-premises to Azure • Strong knowledge of cloud governance, compliance, and security frameworks • Experience leading cloud migration programs for legacy applications, data centers, and workloads • Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience guiding technical teams and engaging executive stakeholders Preferred Qualifications • Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert • Experience with Azure migration tooling and methodologies (Azure Migrate, ASR, Database Migration Service) • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 GCC High We offer a $500 referral bonus to anyone you refer that we place for a minimum of 3 months
