Azure Solutions Architect - Excellent Rate
6 Month Contract - Hybrid in Michigan
NO C2C - Must be able to work without sponsorship
Project Details: Our client is working with a System Integrator to implement 365, specifically GCC High version
β’ Once the integrator leaves, they need someone internally with knowledge of the GCCH Tenant Landing Zone to help the team navigate and manage it.
β’ The Integrator is handling designing and deploying the landing zone. You will help the team understand, navigate, manage, resolve issues, and design post-cutover, scalable solutions for legacy on-prem applications and connections that will align with existing roadmaps for multiple departments.
Responsibilities
β’ Define, implement and manage Azure landing zones with focus on scalability, governance, and security
β’ Design and manage enterprise cloud architectures across networking, identity, compute, and storage
β’ Lead on-premises to Azure migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, re-architect)
β’ Manage and guide governance, tagging standards, and policy compliance
β’ Manage and plan post cloud migration roadmaps and guide to execute designed solutions as needed to solve Post Migration problems with legacy on prem applications post Migration
β’ Design and manage high availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency strategies for mission-critical systems
β’ Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (FAR, DFARS, ITAR, CMMC)
β’ Provide technical leadership and collaborate with stakeholders to drive cloud adoption and modernization
Minimum Requirements
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
β’ 5 years in Azure architecture roles
β’ Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services (networking, identity, governance, monitoring, compute, storage)
β’ Proven track record designing enterprise-grade Azure solutions and executing migrations from on-premises to Azure
β’ Strong knowledge of cloud governance, compliance, and security frameworks
β’ Experience leading cloud migration programs for legacy applications, data centers, and workloads
β’ Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience guiding technical teams and engaging executive stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
β’ Experience with Azure migration tooling and methodologies (Azure Migrate, ASR, Database Migration Service)
β’ Familiarity with Microsoft 365 GCC High
