Job#: 3036078 Job Description: Backend Dev Location: Austin, Texas (Onsite) Role Overview Our organization is seeking a Backend Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services using .NET and Node.js/TypeScript. The position requires end-to-end ownership of feature development, from implementation through testing and deployment, while writing high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain backend services using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) and Node.js/TypeScript. • Own feature development end-to-end, from implementation through testing and deployment. • Write high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code aligned with team standards. • Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot services running in Kubernetes. • Utilize AWS and Azure managed services such as storage, messaging, and databases. • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows. • Write and maintain unit and integration tests for new functionality. • Participate actively in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives. • Support and mentor junior engineers through knowledge sharing and feedback. Required Qualifications • 2–4 years of professional experience in backend software engineering. • Strong working knowledge of .NET (C#) or Node.js/TypeScript, with willingness to work across both. • Experience building REST APIs and a strong understanding of HTTP fundamentals. • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases. • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Experience with Git-based workflows and collaborative development practices. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. • Interest in or experience using AI-assisted development tools. Preferred Qualifications • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or containerized environments. • Exposure to Cloudflare Workers or serverless platforms. • Experience with CI/CD systems and infrastructure automation. • Familiarity with Docker and Agile development practices.
