Backend Engineer

Responsibilities • Architect and develop backend systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. • Lead and participate in code reviews, design discussions, and testing activities to uphold high-quality standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve operational challenges. • Apply software engineering patterns to create scalable solutions. • Incorporate data quality protocols throughout the data lifecycle. • Participate in on-call support to maintain product availability 24/7. Skills • Over 5 years of experience in backend software development. • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with frameworks like Micronaut or Spring Boot. • Experience with DevOps tools and a solid understanding of Apache Kafka. • Proficient in test-driven development methodologies. • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting. Preferred Skills • Experience in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Knowledge of noSQL databases and advanced architectural patterns. • Experience with machine learning models and intelligent systems integration. • Familiarity with Git-based workflows and Agile methodologies.
