Join a fast-scaling PropTech startup as a Backend Engineer and help build a next-gen property investment platform at the intersection of real estate, blockchain, and AI. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work directly with leadership and influence key architectural decisions.
Duties
• Develop and maintain the backend systems of a cutting-edge investment platform
• Design & implement RESTful APIs for seamless front-end/back-end interaction
• Optimise systems for performance, security, and scalability with DevOps collaboration
• Support CI/CD, containerisation, and microservices best practices
• Troubleshoot, fix, and enhance backend functionality
• Work in a startup environment with rapid iteration and deep collaboration
Requirements
• 2+ years of Go backend experience (must be demonstrable via GitHub or portfolio)
• 3+ years overall backend engineering experience
• Proficient with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Solid grasp of microservices and RESTful API development
• Exposure to GraphQL, Web3/blockchain, or smart contracts is a major plus
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure + CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of security principles and data privacy regulations
• Enthusiastic problem solver with high attention to detail
