BI Analyst/Report Developer

Mastering digital convergence at enterprise scale. Entech is hiring a BI Analyst/Report Developer for a financial services client. This is a hybrid role that involves working onsite in Malvern, Pennsylvania (3 days per week). Job Description • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that ingest and integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., Jira, financial systems, Excel/SharePoint trackers) • Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes to transform raw data into clean, structured datasets consumable by both Power BI and Tableau • Build and maintain data models (star schema, curated datasets) that support consistent reporting across platforms • Enable a unified data layer to support coexistence of Tableau and Power BI during the migration period • Ensure data quality and reliability through validation logic, reconciliation checks, and monitoring of pipeline outputs • Optimize query performance, dataset refresh times, and reporting responsiveness across both BI tools • Support data extraction and structuring from Jira and other operational systems for reporting use • Partner with the Senior Data Analyst to operationalize KPI definitions and business logic within the data layer • Manage data refresh schedules, dependencies, and failures to ensure timely and consistent reporting across platforms • Document data flows, transformations, and mappings to support maintainability and migration from Tableau-based logic to Power BI Qualification (3+ minimum years required) • SQL Power BI / Tableau / comparable BI tools Excel (advanced) • Data validation and reconciliation KPI design and reporting logic • Dashboard development • Requirements gathering • Business process analysis • Presentation of findings Company Benefits (Can includes) Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) Preference: W2 Schedule: Hybrid Work Work Location: Malvern, PA Additionally Entech is an equal-opportunity employer.
