Our client is seeking only Locals to Houston, TX candidates for this role. This is an ongoing contract and hiring immediately.
The BI Data Analyst is a Business Intelligence focused role that will be an essential part of the team leading the Global Business Intelligence rollout across the client. The ideal candidate will possess proven technical expertise in BI Implementations, strong business acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills. As a BI ETL Analyst, you will design data storage systems, works to fill them with quality data using data pipelines into a data warehouse. The BI ETL Analyst will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection.
Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
4+ years of experience with ETL Development, Testing, Maintenance and Troubleshooting
4+ years of SQL experience (No-SQL experience is a plus)
4+ years of experience with data cleansing and preparation
Strong understanding of data analysis, data and process modelling, and relational database concepts
Experience designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems
Database Development (tables, relationships, indexes, stored procedures, functions, jobs, agents, etc.)
3rd Party System Integrations/API programming
Agile (methodologies and practical application)
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (methodologies and practical application)
New System Installations (Server Setup, Configuration, Testing, Deployment)
System Migrations (i.e., On-Premise to Cloud)
Must be willing to travel to domestic/international Crane or customer locations, with up to 25% travel at peak-times
