Role description
We are seeking a highly analytical Business Intelligence/Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making through advanced reporting, data mining, and automation. This role involves working with multiple data sources to develop insights, build reports, and support marketing communication workflows using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other BI tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deliver ad-hoc, standard, and customized reports using tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Build and manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journeys for email and SMS campaigns
• Extract, clean, validate, and transform data from multiple systems
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Develop report specifications, test plans, and support production deployment
• Create dashboards, charts, and visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Establish and manage data connections, report scheduling, and delivery processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize business needs and reporting requirements
• Monitor key performance indicators and resolve data discrepancies/issues
• Document workflows, create desk aids, and support process improvements
• Develop RPA bots (UI Path) to automate repetitive tasks (if applicable)
Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (required)
• Strong experience writing and working with SQL queries
• Experience in data analysis, data mining, and reporting
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms
• Experience with MS Access, Visual Basic, or similar tools
• Ability to work with relational and dimensional databases
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with UI Path (RPA automation)
• Experience with SSIS and MS Visual Studio
• Familiarity with DB2 databases
• Experience working in Agile or project-based environments
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards
