Role description
The Role We are looking for a Data & Analytics Engineer with deep expertise in Power BI to support the design and delivery of data and reporting solutions across our client programs. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, working closely with Rubberband Village solution architects, technical product managers, and business analysts to build scalable data models, pipelines, and reporting. You will not be expected to lead business conversationsβ€”but you will be expected to translate defined requirements into clean, intuitive, and performant data solutions. What You’ll Do Power BI Development β€’ Build and maintain Power BI datasets, models, and dashboards β€’ Develop robust data models (fact/dimension structures, relationships, measures) β€’ Write and optimize DAX calculations for operational and financial reporting β€’ Ensure reports are performant, scalable, and easy to maintain Data Engineering & Integration β€’ Develop and maintain data transformations and pipelines (Power Query, SQL, or equivalent) β€’ Integrate data across systems, including: β€’ ATS / CRM platforms (Salesforce, Bullhorn, TargetRecruit, etc.) β€’ Finance systems (Sage, Business Central) β€’ External and operational data sources β€’ Support data quality, consistency, and standardization across reporting layers Data Models & Reporting β€’ Build data models supporting key staffing workflows (recruiting pipelines, job orders, placements, client activity) β€’ Enable reporting across metrics such as fill rates, time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, recruiter productivity, revenue, and profitability What We’re Looking For Core Skills β€’ Deep expertise in Power BI β€’ Data modeling (star schema, relationships) β€’ Advanced DAX β€’ Power Query (M) β€’ Strong SQL skills and experience working with structured and semi-structured data β€’ Experience building end-to-end data and reporting solutions (not just visualization) β€’ Must be comfortable building data models from scratch, not just modifying existing reports Industry & Systems Experience (Highly Preferred) β€’ Experience working with staffing and recruiting data models β€’ Familiarity with: β€’ ATS / CRM systems (Salesforce, Bullhorn, TargetRecruit, etc.) β€’ Finance systems (Sage, Business Central, or similar) β€’ Understanding of staffing lifecycle data (sales β†’ recruiting β†’ placement β†’ billing) Nice to Have β€’ Experience with Azure data services or modern data warehouse environments β€’ Experience working alongside integration platforms (e.g., Workato) β€’ Exposure to data governance and standardization practices β€’ Consulting or multi-client delivery experience
