BI & Data Analytics Specialist

The Role We are looking for a Data & Analytics Engineer with deep expertise in Power BI to support the design and delivery of data and reporting solutions across our client programs. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, working closely with Rubberband Village solution architects, technical product managers, and business analysts to build scalable data models, pipelines, and reporting. You will not be expected to lead business conversations—but you will be expected to translate defined requirements into clean, intuitive, and performant data solutions. What You’ll Do Power BI Development • Build and maintain Power BI datasets, models, and dashboards • Develop robust data models (fact/dimension structures, relationships, measures) • Write and optimize DAX calculations for operational and financial reporting • Ensure reports are performant, scalable, and easy to maintain Data Engineering & Integration • Develop and maintain data transformations and pipelines (Power Query, SQL, or equivalent) • Integrate data across systems, including: • ATS / CRM platforms (Salesforce, Bullhorn, TargetRecruit, etc.) • Finance systems (Sage, Business Central) • External and operational data sources • Support data quality, consistency, and standardization across reporting layers Data Models & Reporting • Build data models supporting key staffing workflows (recruiting pipelines, job orders, placements, client activity) • Enable reporting across metrics such as fill rates, time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, recruiter productivity, revenue, and profitability What We’re Looking For Core Skills • Deep expertise in Power BI • Data modeling (star schema, relationships) • Advanced DAX • Power Query (M) • Strong SQL skills and experience working with structured and semi-structured data • Experience building end-to-end data and reporting solutions (not just visualization) • Must be comfortable building data models from scratch, not just modifying existing reports Industry & Systems Experience (Highly Preferred) • Experience working with staffing and recruiting data models • Familiarity with: • ATS / CRM systems (Salesforce, Bullhorn, TargetRecruit, etc.) • Finance systems (Sage, Business Central, or similar) • Understanding of staffing lifecycle data (sales → recruiting → placement → billing) Nice to Have • Experience with Azure data services or modern data warehouse environments • Experience working alongside integration platforms (e.g., Workato) • Exposure to data governance and standardization practices • Consulting or multi-client delivery experience
