Role description
BI DEVELOPER £400 - £500 PER DAY 1 DAY PER WEEK (BUCKINGHAMSHIRE) 6 MONTH CONTRACT THE COMPANY: Join a growing organisation undergoing a data modernisation programme as a BI Developer. THE ROLE: As a BI Developer, your key responsibilities will include: • Supporting the migration from SQL Server to Databricks. • Keeping BAU reporting and operations running smoothly in the background. • Gathering requirements from stakeholders and acting as a self-service reporting point of contact. • Developing SQL queries, datasets, and stored procedures. • Building and maintaining SSRS reports. • Building, modifying, and optimising Tableau dashboards. • Ensuring reporting quality, reliability, and data integrity during the migration. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The successful BI Developer will have: • Strong SQL development experience. • Hands-on experience with Tableau. • Solid experience building and maintaining SSRS reports. • Ability to gather stakeholder requirements independently. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently. • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders. • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset. • Experience working with Databricks would be a nice to have. • Experience supporting data migrations or modernisation projects would be a nice to have.
