Select "APPLY" If you're interested in learning more about this position. ============================================= • • • We will NOT work with C2C/3rd Party Agencies for ANY reason • • • ============================================= JOB DETAILS: Position: BI Developer (Power BI & SAP BusinessObjects) Job Ref #: 44414 Duration: 12+ Months (On-going Contract) Location: HYBRID - Torrance, CA Pay Rate: $65.00 - $70.25 per hour (W2 ONLY) HYBRID: Must be able to work ONSITE 4 days per week / HOURS: MON-FRI (40 Hours) HIRING REQUIREMENTS: • • NOT accepting any 3rd Party C2C candidates for any reason • • • • NOT accepting candidates who live more than 45 miles from Torrance • • • • NOT accepting candidates willing to relocate (LOCAL CANDIDATES Only) • • RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions. • Develop advanced dashboards and data models using Power BI. • Design and maintain enterprise reporting solutions using SAP BusinessObjects. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements. • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance optimized data retrieval logic. • Perform backend data analysis across SQL Server, DB2, and Amazon Redshift databases. • Design optimized datasets and semantic layers for BI reporting tools. • Troubleshoot data discrepancies, performance issues, and reporting inconsistencies. • Implement data validation and reconciliation logic to ensure reporting accuracy. • Optimize database queries and stored procedures for high-performance analytics workloads. • Work closely with Data Engineering and Architecture teams to align reporting solutions with enterprise data platform architecture. • Support production BI environments and resolve reporting related incidents. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: • • Must be able to interview in-person • • • 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development and data analytics. • Expert knowledge of Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, report optimization, and dashboard design. • Strong experience with SAP BusinessObjects reporting tools. • Advanced SQL development skills, including complex queries, joins, window functions, and data transformations. • Strong experience writing stored procedures and performance optimized SQL code. • Hands-on experience with SQL Server, DB2, and Amazon Redshift databases. • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling. • Experience optimizing query performance and troubleshooting slow-running reports. • Must have EXCELLENT written and Oral Communication skills • • • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience. ----------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------- Calance Consultant Benefits Offerings: - EPO/PPO Medical Plans - HMO/PPO Dental programs - Vision - VSP (Vision Plan Summary) - 401K Retirement vesting program (VOYA) - Paid Bi-Weekly/Direct Deposit - Flex Spending Plan - Voluntary Life, AD&D, STD or LTD plans
