Plusses: • Experience specifically with Teradata to BigQuery migration projects. • Background in large‑scale data engineering or cloud data pipelines. Job Summary: In this contingent Software Engineering assignment, the engineer will participate in moderately complex technical initiatives and support data migration work from Teradata to Google BigQuery. This includes evaluating variable technical factors, contributing to resolution of moderately complex engineering issues, and partnering with client personnel across Software Engineering. The role requires 4+ years of software engineering experience with hands‑on skills in Ab Initio, Google BigQuery, and familiarity with Teradata. The engineer will support data pipeline development, transformation logic, and cloud-based integration within the migration program. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL pipelines using Ab Initio. • Support data migration processes from Teradata to Google BigQuery. • Write and optimize queries within BigQuery. • Analyze data issues, transformation logic, and pipeline performance. • Participate in planning and execution of moderately complex engineering deliverables. • Collaborate with data engineers, migration teams, and Software Engineering stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, policies, and procedures. • Troubleshoot ETL failures and contribute to pipeline quality improvements.
