Billing Analyst

Job Title: Billing Analyst Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst to support our pharmacy operations through data-driven insights and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and systems knowledge, proven analytical ability in accounting or finance, and experience in healthcare or pharmacy environments. This role will be instrumental in optimizing pharmacy performance, supporting strategic initiatives, and enhancing operational efficiency. Responsibilities • Analyze pharmacy-related financial data, including revenue, cost, inventory, and reimbursement trends. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and other visualization tools. • Collaborate with pharmacy, finance, and IT teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization. • Support budgeting and forecasting activities with data modeling and variance analysis. • Conduct contract evaluations and assess the financial impact of payer and manufacturer agreements. • Translate business needs into functional requirements for system enhancements and reporting tools. • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal data governance standards. • Participate in system testing, validation, and implementation of new analytics tools or workflows. • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support decision-making across pharmacy operations. Essential Skills • Strong Excel and systems knowledge. • Proven analytical ability in accounting or finance. • Experience in healthcare or pharmacy environments. • Data entry and data analysis skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Financial analysis expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with Power BI and other visualization tools. Work Environment The position is On-site at a Long Term Care Pharmacy, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
