Primary Services is actively recruiting for a Billing Automation Analyst to support a large enterprise client with complex, high-volume billing operations. This role is execution-focused and ideal for a mid-career professional who thrives in hands-on analysis, report building, and operational problem-solving. The position partners closely with operations and senior leaders to deliver daily insights, improve billing workflows, and support compliance initiatives within a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. Responsibilities • Analyze daily billing data, operational metrics, and performance trends. • Design, build, and maintain recurring reports and dashboards for leadership use. • Develop Excel-based reporting solutions using pivot tables, formulas, and automation techniques. • Collect, cleanse, and structure large datasets for daily operational review meetings. • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for billing optimization. • Create practical workarounds and automate reporting in environments with limited system or IT support. • Support audit, compliance, and control-related reporting requirements. • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications • Demonstrated experience in billing operations, financial analysis, or operations analytics. • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and large datasets. • Experience developing dashboards and recurring performance metrics. • Background supporting daily or high-frequency operational reporting. • Familiarity with data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation techniques. • Experience working in regulated, compliance-driven, or audit-sensitive environments preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics, or a related field preferred. • Exposure to reporting automation or process improvement initiatives is a plus.
