Primary Services is actively recruiting for a Billing Automation Analyst to support a large enterprise client with complex, high-volume billing operations. This role is execution-focused and ideal for a mid-career professional who thrives in hands-on analysis, report building, and operational problem-solving. The position partners closely with operations and senior leaders to deliver daily insights, improve billing workflows, and support compliance initiatives within a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
Responsibilities
β’ Analyze daily billing data, operational metrics, and performance trends.
β’ Design, build, and maintain recurring reports and dashboards for leadership use.
β’ Develop Excel-based reporting solutions using pivot tables, formulas, and automation techniques.
β’ Collect, cleanse, and structure large datasets for daily operational review meetings.
β’ Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for billing optimization.
β’ Create practical workarounds and automate reporting in environments with limited system or IT support.
β’ Support audit, compliance, and control-related reporting requirements.
β’ Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
β’ Demonstrated experience in billing operations, financial analysis, or operations analytics.
β’ Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and large datasets.
β’ Experience developing dashboards and recurring performance metrics.
β’ Background supporting daily or high-frequency operational reporting.
β’ Familiarity with data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation techniques.
β’ Experience working in regulated, compliance-driven, or audit-sensitive environments preferred.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in business, finance, analytics, or a related field preferred.
β’ Exposure to reporting automation or process improvement initiatives is a plus.
