Role description
Job Summary (List Format): Senior BSA Label Design & Implementation
• Serve as key point of contact for labeling projects, ensuring project tracking, risk escalation, and mitigation.
• Design, develop, configure, and optimize labels using Bartender software, including advanced templates, automation, and dynamic data integration.
• Utilize Visual Basic scripting to enable conditional logic, formatting, and system integration for labeling.
• Standardize and harmonize label formats across multiple systems and sites to reduce deviations.
• Lead the full label lifecycle process: requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, validation, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Troubleshoot label-related issues in interconnected systems (MES, ERP/EBS, Robar, Bartender).
• Maintain documentation, update SOPs, and support knowledge transfer activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and IT teams to align labeling workflows with business processes.
• Participate in workshops to define process flows, roles, responsibilities, and support models.
• Ensure all solutions comply with cGMP, data integrity, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute test plans for label functionality, integrations, and printing performance.
• Support validation and change control processes for regulated systems.
• Provide hands-on support during transitions, upgrades, and site enablement projects.
• Troubleshoot high-priority labeling incidents and participate in cross-team triage.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in labeling processes and tools.
• Apply expert-level skills with Bartender and Visual Basic/VBScript to drive automation and efficiency.
• Work in a GMP-regulated environment, supporting systems and processes for biotech, pharma, or cell therapy supply chains.
• Collaborate with global teams to translate business requirements into technical label specifications.
• (Highly desirable) Support or implement lab instruments (e.g., label printers, scanners) in QC or research environments.
• (Highly desirable) Experience with Robar labeling software and Oracle EBS for workflow integration and data sourcing.
Required Experience
• 10+ years overall experience in relevant fields.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading workshops, meetings, and driving structured, process-driven projects.
