Role description
Business Analyst – $46-$77/hr.
PeopleSoft Human CapitalManagement, and/or PeopleSoft Financials Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions Systems
Indefinite Contract with possible contract-to-hire
Remote with a few weeks on onsite training
Position Overview:
This role will help with developing functional test scripts, analyzing test results, and developing remediation lists for the technical team. This position will be a key resource in developing and leading testing plans for the project.
Major Activities:
• Develop standard operating procedures and quality assessment and control processes.
• Gather and analyze data for potential business and operational process development.
• Identify specific opportunities to improve processes and procedures.
• Influence stakeholders to support operational projects.
• Coordinate with cross-departmental and division teams to produce better project outcomes.
• Assess business and operational processes and recommend improvements.
• Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories that are easier to complete.
• Develop reports of actionable information for organizational decision-makers.
• Write clear and well-structured project and process requirements/documents.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to understand operational performance.
• Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to make improvements.
• Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools.
• Perform data discovery, analysis, and modeling.
• Collaborate with leadership on roadmap planning and prioritization.
• Provide technical guidance and support across the project team.
• Maintain data security protocols and ensure data privacy and compliance with policy and regulation for this project.

• Ability to analyze new and complex business-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and fiscal management of the project.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including thorough knowledge of proper grammar, advanced vocabulary, spelling, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and industry-standard computer software and databases.
• High degree of sensitivity regarding confidential information.
Physical Abilities:
• Sufficient fine motor skills for the use of computers, with an ability to withstand repetitive keyboarding for extended periods of time.
• Visual and communications ability adequate to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Ability to kneel, bend and twist at the waist on an occasional basis.
• Ability to reach below shoulder height with regular frequency (desk position) and at or above shoulder height on occasion.
• Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis, and greater weights on an occasional basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Experience with PeopleSoft 9.x or higher
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5 years of IT Service or Consulting experience
• Experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, and/or PeopleSoft Financials Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions Systems.
• Functional knowledge of HR businessfunctions, including but not limitedto Core Human Resources, Recruiting, Onboarding, Timekeeping, Absence Management, Talent Management, Benefits, and Health & Safety tracking.
• Experience with implementation and/oroperations of Oracle PeopleSoft products.
• Understanding programming language concepts(e.g., Python, Java, .NET).
• Experience with Crystal Reporting, SAP Business Objects,Microsoft Power Bl, or other reporting solutions
