The purpose of your role As a Business Analyst with us, you'll be actively involved in all stages of the change life cycle from idea through to delivery across people, process, and technology. By applying our Business Analyst Services, you'll help the business understand it's future needs and then develop solutions which bridge the gap between the current position and the one it wants to reach - while adding value and aligning to our strategy.
You'll use relationships you've built across our organisation to capture, understand, and refine the business needs, and translate them into workable solutions. Your input into people, process and technology improvements will be critical in helping us continue to deliver the excellent service that our customers expect and implement our transformational aims.
You'll play a key role in communicating between different departments across the Service, acting as a 'translator' where necessary to convey how processes and technology changes can support the organisation's needs. To achieve this, you'll need to manage your stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation by creating and maintaining high quality documentation which aligns to the principle of Γ’β¬Λright first time'.
Key responsibilities
Working with stakeholders to understand future business needs and develop requirements which define the change needed to support business goals
Using data gathering and modelling practices to develop and analyse solution proposals which create opportunities for strategic and operational improvements
Working closely with technical colleagues to translate business requirements into functional specification and designs to be developed into robust and scalable solutions
Creating and maintaining high quality analysis documentation like validation and change analysis papers, requirements specifications, user stories, process maps, and other diagrams
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders to become a trusted ally who can take the business forward to meet their goals
Identifying the end-to-end changes required across people, processes, and technology for your proposals to be successful and mitigations for any impediments
Conducting post go-live evaluation, applying troubleshooting skills to identify root cause of defects and help resolve issues in a timely manner.
Leading workshops that explore both the as-is and to-be situation, making sure both technical and non-technical colleagues have the same understanding of the challenges and opportunities being presented.
Understanding and documenting the as-is environment to help stakeholders understand the impacts of proposed changes and make key decisions.
To be considered for this role, you'll need to show us that you've got the skills and capabilities. You'll have to meet the following minimum criteria:
Minimum Criteria
Some experience of working as a business analyst, preferably in an environment that uses different methodologies e.g Agile and Waterfall.
Exposure to working on the delivery of significant or complex business or technology changes in a complex or large scale organisation.

Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate, persuade, influence, negotiate and present effectively to all levels of technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowing when to adapt your communication style to your audience group.
Desirable:
Having knowledge of some of the following: Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Azure, Microsoft Power Platforms, and Intelligent Automation.
