Responsibilities
Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Business Analyst III in North Reading, MA. Responsibilities:
β’ Support development of dashboards, reporting tools, and AI-enabled process workflows that drive team efficiency and decision-making
β’ Work cross-functionally with product managers, sourcing, planning, product, and engineering teams to enable supply chain initiatives
β’ Combine foundational supply chain knowledge with strong data and analytics capabilities, contributing to operational execution
β’ Design, build, and maintain operational dashboards and reports using Excel, Amazon Quick, and other BI tools to support team visibility into supply chain KPIs (e.g., lead time, cost, supplier readiness, shortage tracking)
β’ Execute and optimize AI-enabled process workflows, identifying opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, standardize reporting templates, and improve team throughput through tooling enhancements
β’ Support cross-functional supply chain teams executing programs, serving as a resource for communicating supply chain status, decisions, and implications of program changes across sourcing, planning, logistics, engineering, and finance stakeholders
β’ Contribute to cost reduction roadmaps and lead time optimization efforts by tracking total cost of ownership metrics and maintaining transparent, consistent reporting on progress
β’ Support root cause analysis, post-launch design change coordination (ECOs), and continuous process improvement efforts to sustain operational excellence across the product lifecycle
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field
β’ 1+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or a data/analytics-adjacent role
β’ Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling) and at least one BI or reporting tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
β’ Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into clear, actionable outputs
β’ Demonstrated ability to build dashboards, trackers, or reporting tools used by cross-functional stakeholders
β’ Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to present data clearly to non-technical audiences
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Preferred Qualifications
β’ 3+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or a data/analytics-adjacent role
β’ Experience with AI workflow tools, automation platforms, or process optimization
β’ Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or equivalent) with the ability to apply the right approach to the complexity of the problem
β’ Familiarity with supply chain concepts including lead time management, cost reduction, and supplier performance tracking
β’ Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) or PLM tools (Agile)
β’ Background in robotics, electromechanical systems, or technology-intensive supply chains
β’ Experience supporting NPI or GA supply chain programs in a cross-functional environment
β’ Demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
β’ Strong attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
