Job Title: Business Analyst 3 (In-Person Interviews Only) Client: Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) – State of Virginia Job ID: 762841 Location: Richmond, VA (Onsite – Candidates must be within a 2-hour driving distance )Work Schedule: Onsite 3 days/week, Remote 2 days/week Interview Mode: Online Interview and In-Person Interview Note: This position is replacing Job ID 760236 About the Role The Business Analyst 3 will support the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) by performing business analysis, requirements definition, documentation, training materials development, and testing activities for Oracle Financials, Cardinal, TPLRS, APEX, and other Oracle applications. You will collaborate closely with business teams, the IM development team, project managers, stakeholders, and other members of the project team. Job Responsibilities 15% – Meet with business users to gather and document project requirements 15% – Analyze the impact of proposed changes on existing data layouts and business processes 50% – Develop test cases and participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) 10% – Create project documentation and training materials 5% – Monitor and track User Acceptance Testing (UAT) 5% – Assist with tracking work requests and reporting on project status Required Experience (Minimum 5 Years): Experience performing system testing and writing comprehensive test cases Strong understanding of testing processes and quality assurance methodologies Ability to ensure technical changes meet business requirements Skilled in documenting requirements, test cases, defects, and validation outcomes Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent customer service skills Proficiency in SQL for querying databases, validating data, and troubleshooting data issues Knowledge of database concepts, data modeling, and relational databases Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary Schedule: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Holidays Monday to Friday Night shift Weekends as needed Ability to Commute: Richmond, VA 23219 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Richmond, VA 23219: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
