This role is responsible for transforming our systems, processes, behaviours and technology. It involves understanding business problems, existing practices and approaches, and developing innovative solutions. The role involves taking ownership of work, working with Lead BA, BA’s and stakeholders across a range of different projects and initiatives to understand the structures, business operations, processes, products, service offerings and systems to design solutions that will enable Schroders Personal Wealth to release value to Client, Colleagues and Company, aligned to SPW Strategic Priorities

Development And Key Responsibilities
Understand the Business Challenge
• Ensures all work is value focussed and meets the needs of the client or colleague. Ensure you understand and can articulate the benefit/value of the work.
• Work alongside colleagues such as lead business analysts, business analysts, programme & project managers, developers, testers and architects. Undertake detailed analysis and investigations that deliver successful project outcomes and value to SPW.
• Engage effectively and communicate with stakeholders across the business to understand and document underlying business needs, translating these into actions and activity.
• Develop and maintain good knowledge of business and technology areas, providing analysis insight for ad hoc queries, consulting requests, independent reviews and management of quality assurance activity.
• Construct workflow chart, journey maps, diagrams and use other methods to help understand business problems and articulate solutions.
• Develop your capability to enable you to create robust business cases to articulate required information for successful completion of the work including value of outcomes, resource and capability requirements.
Translate Analysis into Practice
• Documents clear, concise requirements and identify and raise any conflicting items that drives delivery and technology teams to success.
• Ensure all design is compatible with experience blueprints, design principles, business rules and escalate any decisions to the appropriate enterprise design/design authority forum as required.
• Translate project requirements into process, behavioural or technical solutions (in collaboration with Lead BA / BA’s / Arch/Dev/Testers).
Innovation
• Stay abreast of internal developments including changes to our advice process, operational teams, technology, new product launches and releases as well as an understanding of the external market and proactively look for ways to improve the business.
• Uncovers optimal solutions to resolve problems and deliver value through resourcefulness and collaboration with colleagues at all levels of the business.
Qualifications & Skills
• Financial Services experience, with knowledge of Wealth Management industry desirable
• Data Analysis: Proficiency in analysing data to derive insights and inform decisions.
• Requirements Management: Ability to gather, document, and manage project requirements.
• Systems Analysis: Understanding of system processes and workflows.
• Business Intelligence (BI) Tools: Familiarity with tools for data visualization and reporting.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and collaboration.
• Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Analysing issues and developing the capability to analyse complex issues and proposing solutions.
