Role description
Job Description: A Fortune 500 client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with IAM (Identity & Access Management) expertise to support their Privileged Access Management (PAM) team. This role plays a key part in strengthening service account governance, improving data quality, and driving security‑focused process improvements across the organization. You will collaborate with engineering teams, developers, vendors, and business units to analyze data, document processes, communicate changes, and support remediation efforts involving privileged and service accounts. Key Responsibilities • Lead service account cleanup efforts and help define standards and expectations for account management. • Perform data analysis using Excel, IAM platforms, Active Directory, and LDAP directories. • Interpret and communicate insights to support technical and business decision‑making. • Document business processes, workflows, requirements, and remediation plans. • Facilitate cross‑team communication for IAM and PAM initiatives. • Support process optimization, automation opportunities, and tooling enhancements. • Identify shared service account usage patterns and help socialize best practices. • Partner with security engineers and technical teams to ensure alignment with PAM program goals. Required Skills & Experience Must‑Have Skills • Active Directory • Advanced Excel • Change Communications • Identity & Access Management (IAM) Nice‑to‑Have Skills • CyberArk • Microsoft PowerShell • HashiCorp Vault (bonus) Qualifications • 3–6 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or quality assurance. • Strong background in gathering and documenting requirements. • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive data. • Proficient in data interpretation and visualization techniques. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing. • Experience generating process documentation and supporting change communication. Work Environment • Hybrid schedule: Onsite 3 days/week (Mon–Wed preferred, 8:30/9 AM–4:30/5 PM). • Close collaboration with the Privileged Access Management team. • Security‑focused environment with an emphasis on cross‑functional partnership and continuous improvement. About the Team You’ll support the organization’s Privileged Access Management program, a team focused on safeguarding high‑risk accounts and maturing identity governance practices. This role contributes directly to improving automation, strengthening processes, and enhancing overall control effectiveness across the enterprise.
