Role description
Business Analyst
6 month contract | likely to extend through 2026 | £450-550 per day | Outside IR35
Fully Remote (with occasional expensed travel to workshops, stakeholder meeting, vendors etc…)
We are looking for a contract Business Analyst with experience of onboarding and integrating new solutions into existing business systems for our plc client. We are seeking a Business Analyst who combines good stakeholder management skills and previous RFP / RFI coordination and analysis experience for procurement new IT / SaaS systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Working with Project Manager, the business and the Solution Architect to develop requirements (functional and non-functional) and assist in the coordination and analysis of an RfP (or similar) process with a short list of platform vendors and/or systems integrators
• Work with the business and IT to produce the detailed requirements, using the RTM documentation and MoSCoW rating
• Produce detailed benefits assessment with tangible and non-tangible benefits and quantifying benefits into revenue, cost saving or cost avoidance
• Be the bridge between the business, IT and the project team with excellent stakeholder relations
• Support the architect on the solutions required to enable the ingestion and storage of relevant records and documents
• Support the SA on producing technology options assessment paper for review and decision via Architecture Review Board and Project Governance
• Produce RFI and RFP taking into consideration all business requirements
• Assist with commercial and licensing discussions, in particular ensuring license implications are understood for the proposed solution architecture
• Assist with the development of a full business case to move to Build and Deployment phase
• Facilitate the creation of the Low Level Design (majority of content produced by others) to ensure a coherent LLD comes together and aligns to the previously approved HLD.
• Input into testing process to make sure adequate testing in place
Skills & Experience Required
• Experienced Business Analyst contractor
• CV with demonstrable experience of coordination and analysis of RFI and RFPs
• Strong Stakeholder management experience with the ability to extract information and requirements from a range of busy technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to summarise technical information to different audiences

• Lean process experience
