Role description
Position Title: Kronos Senior Business Analyst Location: New York, NY (Remote) Clearance Requirements: None Position Status: Contract (12+ months) Pay Rate: Up to $66/hour (based on experience) Position Description We are seeking a Kronos Senior Business Analyst (UKG Pro WFM) to support a large-scale upgrade initiative for a leading transportation organization. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in upgrading from Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) to UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) โ€” consolidating five WFC instances into a single integrated environment. This role involves deep collaboration with IT and business stakeholders, managing integrations with PeopleSoft HRMS and legacy systems, and leading testing and validation activities to ensure a smooth transition. Key Responsibilities โ€ข Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather, document, and refine business requirements for the UKG Pro WFM upgrade. โ€ข Requirements & Design: Translate functional needs into detailed design and configuration specifications. โ€ข Testing Leadership: Develop and manage test scripts to ensure end-to-end validation of business and payroll processes. โ€ข Kronos Configuration: Implement and configure Kronos Workforce Central Suite and UKG Pro WFM, including Timekeeper, Activities, Mobile, and Analytics modules. โ€ข Data Migration: Oversee extraction, cleansing, reformatting, and upload of data from WFC to UKG Pro WFM. โ€ข Integration Oversight: Partner with the system integrator and PMO to validate integrations between PeopleSoft HRMS, Kronos Boomi middleware, and other systems. โ€ข Team Leadership: Lead a team of Kronos analysts in testing, troubleshooting, and configuration validation. โ€ข Compliance & Payroll: Validate configuration of pay rules, CBAs, and payroll processes, ensuring alignment with PeopleSoft pay rates and business rules. โ€ข Project Coordination: Work closely with the Program Manager to align milestones, risks, and deliverables. Required Skills & Qualifications โ€ข 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst Lead with a focus on Kronos Workforce Central or UKG Pro WFM implementations. โ€ข Proven experience in large-scale system upgrades, integrations, and data migrations. โ€ข Strong understanding of PeopleSoft HRMS and its integration with Kronos/UKG. โ€ข Proficiency with Kronos Boomi or similar integration/middleware tools. โ€ข Expertise in developing and executing test plans and validation strategies. โ€ข Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills. โ€ข Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines. โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). โ€ข Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
