Role description
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years supporting Medicaid programs
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid operations, including eligibility, claims processing, managed care, and provider networks
• Experience working with Medicaid enterprise systems
• Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques and documentation standards
• Familiarity with federal and state Medicaid regulations and CMS guidelines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Agile/Scrum or SAFe methodologies
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards (HIPAA, X12, HL7, FHIR)
• Experience supporting state Medicaid agencies or Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar business analysis certification
• Experience with data analytics, SQL, or reporting tools
