Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Remote Experience: 2 to 5 Years Employment Type: Contract About the Role: We are seeking a results-driven and analytical Business Analyst with a strong background in business process evaluation, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse data, document business processes, and define clear, actionable requirements that drive the success of projects. This position is ideal for a mid-senior professional who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced remote environment. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements. • Translate business needs into clear, detailed user stories and process flows for development teams. • Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement or automation. • Work with product managers and technical teams to ensure business objectives are met through effective solutions. • Create and maintain BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and use case documentation. • Perform data analysis using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or SQL to support decision-making. • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions to clarify project goals and deliverables. • Support testing and validation to ensure the implemented solution meets business needs. • Track and communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to management. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. • 2 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, software, or digital transformation projects. • Strong understanding of business process modelling, requirement elicitation, and use case development. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau). • Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical thinking skills. • Ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements. Preferred Qualifications: • CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA certification is a plus. • Experience with ERP or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle). • Familiarity with SQL queries and data analysis. • Exposure to API integration projects or cloud-based business solutions. • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
