Business Analyst

Immediate need for a talented Business Analyst. This is a 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Chicago IL (Hybrid). Key Responsibilities: • Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels • Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development • Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability • Partner with other stakeholder teams across business units (i.e., sales, finance, security, compliance) to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams • Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties • Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation • Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations. • Preferred working hours: 8-5 M-F Key Requirements and Technology Experience: • Key Skills; Write business and technical requirements • Present to leadership for status and project goals and activities • Conduct assessments and evaluations of real life scenarios and document gaps and efficiencies. • Airline / Banking experience • This position will be the main BA/SME on Alliance projects driving work this year. • Technical Degree or related work experience • Proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity • High proficiency with SQL language and database management • Proven analytical abilities • Practical experience generating process documentation and reports • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights • Experience working with Business Objects. • Knowledge of ITIL Foundations. • This role will be dedicated to Alliances to understand customer experiences and translate into business and technical requirements in such a way to document current state as well as document gaps and new requirements to improve customer experiences (internal and external customers) Our client is a leading Airlines and Aviation Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
