Business Analyst

Job Description : As a Business Analyst Contractor, you will support team by providing analytical insights, documenting business needs, and helping ensure successful project delivery. You will gather data, analyze business processes, prepare documentation, and present findings to stakeholders. This role also requires deep AI/ML engineering expertise, specifically with Behavox Communications Surveillance and TradingHub, to enhance and tune AI models used for capital markets surveillance. Key Responsibilities (Simplified) Business Analyst Work • Gather and analyze data to support project decisions. • Document business processes, requirements, and workflows. • Create and maintain project artifacts like process maps, user stories, and requirement specs. • Support project planning, timelines, and deliverables. • Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders. AI/ML Engineering Work • Enhance and tune Behavox AI/LLM 2.0 models and risk policies. • Improve model accuracy and reduce false positives for market abuse detection. • Analyze large datasets (communications, voice, transactions) to identify patterns. • Ensure model changes comply with regulatory requirements (FINRA, SEC). • Conduct model validation, scenario testing, and governance reviews. • Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams. • Act as a technical expert on AI model behaviour and tuning. • Mentor and guide other engineers/data scientists. Required Skills (Simplified) Primary Skill • Implementation Support – Intermediate (3–5 years) Preferred BA Skills • Business Analysis – Intermediate • Data Analytics – Intermediate AI/ML Technical Skills • 5+ years in Applied AI/ML Engineering or Data Science • Strong knowledge of capital markets and surveillance compliance • Hands-on experience with Behavox implementation and configuration • Experience with TradingHub • Python & SQL • ML frameworks: PyTorch or TensorFlow • NLP and LLM experience (transformers, fine-tuning) • Big Data tools: Spark, Kafka • Cloud platforms: AWS or GCP Preferred • RegTech / FinTech experience • GPU-accelerated model training • AI/ML projects with measurable business impact
