Business Analyst – Agile Delivery
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Hybrid)
Employment Type: 12 Months Contract
Role Overview
This role is responsible for capturing and supporting the delivery of business and system requirements to achieve significant business outcomes. The position involves working with stakeholders to understand their needs, capture requirements, perform impact analysis, and collaborate with development teams to refine specifications. This individual will have a deep understanding of the business and technical domain, providing thought leadership based on experience from multiple software implementations.
Key Responsibilities
• Influence stakeholder strategy and understand needs to envision and create solutions.
• Establish and build relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations.
• Lead cost/benefit analysis to align technology solutions with business strategy.
• Gather and catalog functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests.
• Act as the subject matter expert within the business/technical domain to support scope and requirement decisions.
• Determine the impact of modifications and enhancements to applications across a domain.
• Ensure changes to applications are compliant with established standards and policies.
• Assist users and development teams in application testing, troubleshooting, and test planning.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to create, analyze, and improve processes and solutions.
• Mentor junior analysts.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
• 3+ years of experience with Agile project delivery.
• 3+ years of experience managing the completion of application-related documentation to meet risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Technical Skills:
• Primary Skill: Agile Coach
• Secondary Skill: Agile Scrum Master
• Tertiary Skill: Agile tools (Jira)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with infrastructure upgrade or replacement projects.
• Knowledge of ISO20022 Payment Format.
• Knowledge of US RTP, SEPA Instant, Fed Now, or relevant real-time payment processing formats.
• Basic awareness of business products, services, flows, and strategy.
• Understanding of financial data and its impact within a team.
• Familiarity with DevOps, release automation, and continuous delivery practices.
• General awareness of testing practices and data management.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $62.00 to $67.70 per hour. Please note that the exact compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to the selected candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
