Role description
Description: We are looking for a Business Analyst who is passionate about enabling API-driven resolutions. In this role, you will support the API Office in a variety of critical responsibilities, including work coordination, product administration/reporting, and serve as team scrum master. You will collaborate closely with technical teams and the API Office team to manage incoming requests, plan architecture sessions, facilitate Scrum ceremonies and champion Agile best practices. Additionally, you will manage license usage, maintain team documentation, and deliver reports and dashboards. To succeed, you will need excellent organizational skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to wear multiple hats effectively. You will need to work well with both technical resources and API Office stakeholders. Good technical aptitude and a general understanding of APIs and software development concepts will also be key to your success. We are looking for someone with experience using agile methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Job Specific Responsibilities β€’ Coordinate meetings, organize team events, administer our suite of products, and perform other admin tasks as needed β€’ Triage, prioritize, assign, and manage incoming work requests to completion. β€’ Plan and schedule architecture working sessions, including developing agendas and inviting appropriate participants. β€’ Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Refinement, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives). β€’ Ensure adherence to Agile principles and Scrum best practices, drive continuous improvement, and remove blockers β€’ Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance team performance, processes, and quality. β€’ Update and organize team documentation, ensuring accuracy, conciseness, and completeness β€’ Compile data, deliver reports, and create dashboards to support data-driven decisions and analytics β€’ Manage and optimize license usage and access for team-managed tools. β€’ Evaluate technical requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options that best serve technical needs Required Qualifications β€’ Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area β€’ 1-2 years of related experience in the field of information technology, preferably supporting a large organization β€’ Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills β€’ Excellent organizational skills and ability to track multiple initiatives and tasks β€’ Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology and workflow management tools β€’ Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and structured walkthroughs β€’ Ability to triage and prioritize work requests in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Scrum Master and Agile Coaching experience β€’ Experience managing JIRA based Agile teams and SharePoint customer knowledgebase sites β€’ Experience with Adobe Experience Manager β€’ Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role β€’ General understanding of API concepts, including REST, event-driven architecture, integration patterns, and lifecycle management
