Business Analyst – Banking Transformation & Data Migration 📍 Location: Buffalo, NY preferred (Remote candidates must be able to travel to Buffalo every 3–4 weeks) 📅 Duration: Contract through end of year (extension unlikely) We're partnering with one of the nation's leading banks on a high-impact banking transformation initiative and are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a critical data migration and profitability workstream leading up to a targeted November go-live. What You'll Do • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements. • Create user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria. • Support complex data migration and data conversion initiatives. • Partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, QA, and project leadership. • Facilitate requirements workshops, backlog refinement, UAT, and solution reviews. • Track dependencies, risks, and project milestones to help ensure a successful enterprise implementation. What We're Looking For • 7+ years of Business Analyst or related experience. • Experience supporting enterprise transformation programs. • Strong background in data migration, data conversion, or data transformation. • Banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industry experience. • Strong Agile experience with user stories, backlog refinement, and stakeholder management. • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar tools is a plus. 💼 This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major enterprise transformation with one of the industry's leading financial institutions.
