📢 Hiring: Business Analyst (BA6) – | Des Moines, IA (Onsite) Location: Des Moines, Iowa (Onsite – 4 days/week) Duration: 05/25/2026 – 06/30/2026 (Extension expected) Interview Mode: Web Cam 🔍 About the Role The Client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA6) to support documentation and modernization of home-grown systems across IFA/IEDA/ITG. This role requires strong expertise in data mapping and data modeling, along with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment. 📌 Key Responsibilities • Work closely with business leaders, SMEs, and technical teams to gather and document requirements • Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and design documentation • Perform data analysis, data mapping, and data modeling • Document and manage business processes, workflows, and system changes • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, developers, and project teams • Analyze data to identify issues and recommend solutions or process improvements • Track project status, risks, timelines, and deliverables • Support Agile delivery with a focus on continuous improvement • Participate in database analysis and system modernization efforts ✅ Required Skills & Experience • 8+ years experience in Business Analysis on large, complex IT systems • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Mapping & Data Modeling (MANDATORY) • Strong experience with: • SDLC methodologies • Requirement gathering & stakeholder management • Agile frameworks • Experience with ALM tools: • Azure DevOps (ADO), TFS, VSTS, Jira, or RTC • 5+ years working with relational databases (SQL Server preferred) • Strong expertise in: • Process mapping • Data analysis • Documentation & reporting • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) 🎯 Preferred Qualifications • Experience with system modernization initiatives • Familiarity with data architecture and information management practices • Ability to drive business case development, cost-benefit analysis, and impact analysis 🎓 Education • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 💼 Work Environment • Onsite role – 4 days/week (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) • Professional business environment • Opportunity for extension beyond initial contract
