Role description
Grow Your Career with Us We believe our people are the key to our success. At Brooksource, we’re committed to helping our talented professionals grow. Whenever possible, we prioritize internal talent for open positions before recruiting externally. If this role aligns with your skills and career goals, we encourage you to apply! About the Opportunity As a Business Analyst, you will be the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will be assigned to one of four key focus areas (Inbound/Paper Enrollment, Medicare/COB, Member Maintenance/Migration, or Testing/Validation) but you will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team that supports each other and works together to achieve program goals. The ideal candidate is a "go-getter" with the right attitude, someone who is naturally curious, a meticulous documenter, and an excellent communicator with a deep understanding of the enrollment domain. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Engage with stakeholders to document current-state business processes and identify missing or new functionalities needed for the new Facets-centric environment. β€’ Translate business needs into clear, concise, and detailed user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria that align with Facets capabilities and data structures. β€’ Analyze and document business rules, data requirements, and system interaction patterns for your assigned capability area. β€’ Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and other BAs to ensure functional and technical alignment within the Facets ecosystem. β€’ Support the development of testing strategies, scenarios, and validation criteria to ensure the solution meets business needs. β€’ Contribute to the refinement and prioritization of the product backlog in JIRA. β€’ Work as a cohesive team, providing backup and support for other analysts and focus areas as needed to ensure project continuity and success. What You Bring: β€’ A curious and proactive mindset, with a passion for diving deep into complex business problems. β€’ Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, clear documentation. β€’ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. β€’ A collaborative spirit and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. β€’ A "go-getter" attitude with a strong desire to learn, grow, and make a tangible impact on a high-profile project. Required Skills & Experience: β€’ Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar role, specifically on projects related to health insurance member enrollment. β€’ Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and user story development within an agile framework. β€’ Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify gaps in processes and systems. β€’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills & Experience: β€’ Direct experience with Facets module configuration. β€’ Experience with EDI transactions (e.g., 834, 270/271), Medicare, or Coordination of Benefits (COB). β€’ Experience with data migration projects or system implementation/integration projects. β€’ Experience supporting testing activities, including test case development and UAT coordination. β€’ Experience working within a large-scale, multi-vendor program environment.
