Position: Senior Business Analyst - HRIT and Payroll domain
Location: Rahway, NJ- onsite from day 1

Role & Responsibility: HRIT BA/Technical Analyst
Requirements:
· Possess a minimum of 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, within HRIT and Payroll domains.
· Demonstrate strong expertise in HCM platforms including Workday and global payroll platforms like ADP systems (EV6, Streamline/GDMS, Celergo and WFN etc.)
· Lead requirements gathering activities as an IT Analyst with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams.
· Strong stakeholder facing skills, conduct workshops, stakeholder meetings, and working sessions to collect, analyze, and document business requirements.
· Create, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications, including business requirements, Functional Specification documents, Interface Data mapping specs, and user stories.
· Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including integration requirements and acceptance criteria.
· Support and validate Workday HR integrations, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
· Develop and maintain detailed data mapping documents for system integrations, particularly Workday to Payroll and Benefits interfaces.
· Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in payroll and benefits systems, supporting integrations and processes.
· Facilitate requirement prioritization, resolve conflicts among stakeholders, and obtain formal requirement sign-offs.
· Collaborate with IT and technical teams to define end-to-end solution designs aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
· Enforce standards and procedures across design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
· Create and maintain test strategies, test plans, and detailed test scripts for payroll systems and integrations.
· Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and other validation activities.
· Validate test results, ensure traceability to requirements, and coordinate defect management and resolution with QA and development teams.
· Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (including ADP and other payroll and benefit vendors) for incident management, escalation, and resolution.
· Ensure alignment of payroll data across systems and maintain data integrity across global payroll platforms.
· Demonstrate strong technical skills, understanding of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and financial integrations such as GL postings.
· Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, audit requirements, and data privacy standards including SOX and regulatory requirements.
· Participate in all phases of SDLC including requirements, design, development support, testing, and deployment.
· Operate within Agile delivery models and actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
· Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to engage effectively across technical and business stakeholders.
· Manage multiple priorities independently while ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks and deliverables.
· Strong proficiency in understanding, writing, and optimizing SQL queries for system integrations.
· AI certifications (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, or similar platforms) are considered a plus.
