Business Analyst

Payrate: $32.00 - $34.00/hr. Position Contributions to Work Group: The challenge facing the global Steel and Steel components team is Scope 3 and Scope 4 tariffs on parts, materials entering the United States and the impact they are having on our piece part costs and annual business plans. The complexity and the constant changes of the tariffs is adding significant and unplanned time constraints on the Steel and Steel components purchasing teams and leaders. Therefore, this role will take on the role of monitoring all changes and financial impacts regarding Scope 3 and Scope 4 tariffs for the global Steel and Steel Components team. Finally, project management and communication of this analysis with all Steel teams is an expectation. Typical task breakdown: • 60% accounting and financial analysis on tariff impact • 30% project management with teams on tariffs within a category • 10% report-out results and administrative tasks Education & Experience Required: • Years of experience: 5 years + • Degree requirement: BS Degree bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required. Skills: • Business acumen in accounting and/or financial modeling • Project management to meet all deadlines efficiently • Communication at team level and up to the leadership team • Data analysis • Excel, Power Bi Soft Skills: • Communication • Work independently in a dynamic environment Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $32.00 - $34.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
