Business Analyst - Custom Applications

Role: Senior BA Duration: Client would like to do CTH after 3 months or 9-month contact if resource is not interested in direct hire. Location: 2 Wells Avenue, Newton MA 02459 Role Overvie wThe Senior Business Analyst (Custom Applications) is responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver business and functional requirements that drive the development and enhancement of custom-built applications .This role acts as a strategic bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable value across the application lifecycle .The position requires strong expertise in requirements engineering, stakeholder management, and end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) engagement . Key Responsibiliti es1. Requirements & Solution Definiti onCollaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements for custom application s.Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flow s.Develop As-Is and To-Be models, identifying opportunities for process optimization and automatio n.Ensure traceability of requirements across the SDL C. 1. Stakeholder Management & Communicat ionAct as the primary liaison between business users, product owners, and development tea ms.Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to drive clarity and consens us.Communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audienc es. 1. Delivery & SDLC Participa tionSupport end-to-end delivery, including design, development, testing, and deployment pha ses.Work closely with QA teams to define and validate test cases aligned with business requireme nts.Ensure alignment with SDLC best practices and governance standa rds. 1.
