Business Analyst - Data Engineer II

Primary Location: Cincinnati, Ohio V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Business Analyst - Data Engineer II for our premier client in Cincinnati, Ohio. Must Have Education and Experience » • SQL: 3+ years of experience. • Power BI: 2+ years of experience. • Business Process Mapping. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in data-related issues and solution design. • Ability to lead meetings and collaborate across teams. Nice To Have • SAP Business Objects. • Familiarity with DataStage. • Experience with Business Objects. • Knowledge of PowerApps/PowerAutomate. What You’ll Do Job Responsibilities: • Build/support PowerBI Reports & Dashboards. • Support a dynamic application where the UI and functionality are driven by data configured in a UDB DB2 database. • Must be proficient in SQL and relational databases to configure and troubleshoot framework tables. • Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, including writing professional emails and leading meetings. • Provide support and troubleshooting for data platforms, including escalated on-call support for complex or critical incidents. • Contribute to internal projects such as legacy system replacement, monitoring and analytics enhancements, tool development, and documentation. • Manage and prioritize multiple assignments effectively. • Mentor and guide team members.
