Business Analyst, Data Governance

Title: Business Analyst, Data Governance Industry: Technology Location: Foster City, CA Duration: ~6 Months Responsibilities • Lead a current-state assessment of existing data management processes and governance practices. • Conduct a gap analysis between current MDM capabilities and target-state MDG capabilities. • Evaluate SAP MDG and comparable solutions against business needs and operations requirements. • Partner with cross-functional teams to define the target-state data governance operating model. • Support business case development for MDG including scope, value, implementation approach, and risks. Requirements • Bachelor's degree with 8 to 10 years of experience in data management or governance roles. • Strong understanding of data governance concepts, including workflow and data quality. • Experience supporting or implementing MDM/MDG platforms, preferably SAP MDG. • Strong knowledge of SAP data processes across relevant domains. • Ability to translate business needs into data governance and system requirements.
