Business Analyst & Data Visualization Specialist

Position Summary We are seeking a Business Analyst & Data Visualization Specialist with strong expertise in Power BI to drive our data visualization, reporting, and business intelligence strategy. This role bridges analytics, business strategy, and technology by designing data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions that turn complex information into actionable insights. The ideal candidate is skilled in interpreting data, mapping relationships, and building scalable solutions that improve decision-making across teams. This position requires a detail-oriented, highly organized individual with strong technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance hands-on execution with big-picture process optimization. While Power BI expertise is required, you will also leverage basic knowledge of Airtable and provide strategic input and management on CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) integrations to ensure a connected data ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Data Modeling & Management o Define, implement, and manage data models, schemas, field structures, and taxonomies to ensure consistency across systems and tools (Airtable, Power BI, Dynamics 365, etc.). o Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and scalability across integrated platforms. Data Visualization & Reporting o Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to track key performance indicators, service outcomes, and compliance metrics. o Translate business requirements into actionable visual solutions using Power Query, DAX, and other BI tools. o Enhance existing dashboards to improve usability, accuracy, and performance. o Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Power BI across the organization, training and supporting users. Analysis & Business Insights o Perform advanced data analysis, scenario modeling, and predictive analytics to support strategy and decision-making. o Partner with business units to define KPIs, track performance metrics, and identify opportunities for process improvement. o Present findings to management and non-technical teams in clear, actionable formats. Governance & Documentation o Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and best practices for BI solutions. o Ensure compliance with applicable data governance, integrity, and security standards. o Troubleshoot issues and act as the first line of support for data and visualization-related requests. Qualifications Required: o Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field. o 5 plus years of professional experience in business analysis, BI development, or data visualization. o Proven expertise with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and dashboard design) – a must! o Experience designing and managing solutions in Airtable (bases, views, automations, integrations) – is highly recommended. o Strong SQL skills with the ability to query, clean, and transform large datasets. o Ability to map data relationships, create logical structures, and translate business needs into analytics solutions. o Excellent communication skills with ability to present insights clearly.
