Role description
Equifind are partnering with a Student Property Management firm who are hiring for a Business Data Analyst to Student Accommodation team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical capability and ideally has accounting training (ACCA / CIMA / ACA / CA) who enjoys working with large datasets, financial models, and real estate performance metrics.
Youβll play a key role in supporting our valuation cycles, portfolio analysis, investment reporting, and data management across a rapidly growing UK portfolio.
What you will doing:
β’ Support valuation cycles, project analysis and investment modelling across the student accommodation portfolio.
β’ Manage core data sets, streamline reporting, and build automated dashboards (Excel & Power BI).
β’ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for multiple funds.
β’ Provide analytical support on acquisitions, due diligence, business plans and performance reviews.
β’ Partner with asset management, finance and senior leadership on portfolio insights and strategic decision-making.
About You:
Weβd love to hear from you if you have:
β’ Strong data analysis skills with advanced Excel (modelling, scenario analysis, data manipulation).
β’ Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or audit, ideally with a finance qualification.
β’ Exposure to real estate, funds, or investment environments is highly advantageous.
β’ Experience with Power BI, financial reporting or KPI dashboards (nice to have, not essential).
