Role description
Digital Transformation Business Analyst A leading healthcare technology and consulting organization is seeking a Digital Transformation Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. This will be a contract to hire role, with full-time employment at the end of your initial contract period. The expected salary conversion is $120-140k. This role sits at the intersection of business consulting, data analytics, and technology delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to drive transformation across commercial operations and deliver data-driven solutions that improve outcomes. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering β€’ Analyze business processes, workflows, and systems across commercial functions (sales, marketing, patient services, market access) β€’ Lead requirements gathering through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation β€’ Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for data and digital solutions Project & Product Support β€’ Support project planning, timelines, and milestone tracking β€’ Monitor progress, identify risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders β€’ Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements Data Analysis & Insights β€’ Analyze complex healthcare datasets (claims, Rx, CRM, specialty pharmacy data) β€’ Build dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools β€’ Deliver actionable insights to support commercial strategy and decision-making Client Engagement β€’ Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and operational groups β€’ Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and solution walkthroughs β€’ Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment Solution Design & Implementation β€’ Collaborate with technology teams to design and implement digital solutions β€’ Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and system deployment β€’ Ensure alignment with business objectives, data strategy, and regulatory requirements Qualifications Required β€’ 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a consulting or life sciences environment β€’ Experience supporting digital transformation or data strategy initiatives β€’ Strong understanding of pharmaceutical/biopharma commercial operations (sales, marketing, patient services, market access) β€’ Hands-on experience with healthcare data sources, such as: β€’ Claims data (835/837) β€’ EHR/EMR data β€’ Rx dispense and specialty pharmacy data β€’ Sales and CRM data β€’ Proficiency in SQL β€’ Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) β€’ Familiarity with business analysis tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Office) Preferred β€’ Experience with master data management (MDM) across patient, HCP, HCO, or payer data β€’ Familiarity with healthcare coding systems (ICD, CPT, HCPCS, NDC, SNOMED CT) β€’ Exposure to cloud platforms, AI/ML, or advanced analytics β€’ Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Veeva, Zoho) β€’ Certifications such as CBAP, PMI, or Agile What We’re Looking For β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset β€’ Ability to translate complex business problems into structured, scalable solutions β€’ Excellent communication skills and client-facing presence β€’ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment β€’ Intellectual curiosity and a desire to continuously learn Why Join β€’ Work on high-impact digital transformation initiatives in life sciences β€’ Partner with leading pharmaceutical and biotech organizations β€’ Collaborative, fast-paced, and growth-oriented environment β€’ Opportunity to build solutions that directly impact patient outcomes Juno is an Equal Opportunity Employer that provides equal opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, genetic predisposition or carrier status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
