This role focuses on transforming moderately complex data into actionable insights, developing reports and dashboards, and communicating findings to diverse business audiences. The position is primarily remote and requires strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and communication.Key Responsibilities • Perform analysis on moderately complex data models, selecting appropriate reports and data sources • Determine data needs, collect data, and apply analytical techniques to achieve desired outcomes • Understand business requirements and independently develop custom and ad-hoc reports • Present analytical findings to various internal audiences • Conduct basic internal and external research • Communicate and collaborate with peers across departments • Support material management initiatives to improve tracking and reporting • Create dashboards, visualizations, and compiled data reports Required SkillsData & Reporting • Understanding of databases and report creation • Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI • Ability to analyze, compile, and visualize data accurately Communication & Collaboration • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to present findings clearly to varied audiences Organization & Adaptability • Strong organizational and multitasking skills • Ability to work effectively in changing business conditions and ambiguity Preferred / Desired Skills • Knowledge of analytical methods, approaches, and tactics • Understanding of fundamental analysis and what-if modeling • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills • Presentation and storytelling with data • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, and Power Apps Technical Competencies • Advanced Information Analysis, Metrics, and KPI Tracking • General understanding of: • Operational Monitoring & Analysis • Advocacy and Persuasion • Presentation Skills Education • Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline • Equivalent work experience will be considered Experience • Minimum 2 years of related work experience Equipment & Travel • Client-issued laptop provided • First 1-2 weeks may require use of personal or supplier-issued laptop via Citrix/VDI • Mileage and meals reimbursed with prior manager approval when travel to Oakland or San Ramon is requested Benefits • Medical Insurance • Vision Insurance • Dental Insurance • 401(k) Retirement Plan About the CompanyA leading natural gas and electric energy company serving millions of customers across the United States.
